Come celebrate Halloween with us in a slightly different way – on a spooky walk full of tasks, surprises, and magical stations. At each station, a different Halloween costume and task or challenge awaits you, which even the youngest daredevils can handle. Costumes are welcome (and almost mandatory!) – the scarier, the better! The Halloween trail starts in front of the Kotelna at 4:00 p.m., when we recommend arriving with the youngest children. At 5:00 p.m., it is more suitable to arrive with older children. After completing the entire trail, a little surprise awaits all the brave ones. Please note that the trail starts at Kotelna; to enter, use the main access road from Lazaretní Street. Ecology is not boring! Come and see for yourself at the third annual E.ON Ecofestival, which will be full of inspiration and fun. A varied program for all ages awaits you throughout the afternoon. At the workshops, you will be able to try out virtual reality or a Czech electric moped and also learn more about the environmental aspects of food. In cooperation with DVTV, interviews with interesting guests will be prepared for you on topics that are shaking up the world: sustainability, innovation, climate challenges, and everyday ecological choices. The band Vesna will play, and David Koller and Tereza Mašková will perform. Actress and presenter Míša Maurerová will guide you through the entire event. Chill out & tech zone: carbon footprint, environmental aspects of food, VR simulator, swap store focused on circular fashion, aromatherapy and herbs, eco-friendly Mopedix, 3D technology And because good food is a must, there will be a local food zone offering sustainable snacks from regional suppliers. The winner of the 17th E.ON Energy Globe competition, selected by public vote, will be announced at the event. Admission to the festival is free. Come celebrate your love for our planet with us. The annual festival on the Svitavské nábřeží riverbank will once again be held without Nová Zbrojovka. On Saturday, August 16th from 13:00 in the Amenities Park you can look forward to a rich water program: water competitions (target shooting, fish catching, diving, etc.), water mist, ice water bucket, firefighters Královo Pole. At 16:00, a water balloon and water pistol battle will start (balloons and water will be provided, bring your own water pistols!). There will also be a DJ, bouncy castles, ice cream, face painting, VIDA! centre and Curling Brno.

Celebrate 40 years on the scene with Tři sestry band!

A festival of dance battles of various categories, a mentoring challenge, pairs made up of the best local artists, a showcase of several dance styles performed by adults and juniors, workshops with six world-class dance mentors, parties & shows.

Children’s race on bikes, scooters and balance bikes. The competition will be held in the following categories: plastic balance bikes 1–3 years, metal balance bikes 2–4 years, bikes 3–4 years, 5–6 years, 7–8 years, 9–10 years, scooters 3–4 years, 5–6 years, 7–8 years, 9–10 years. Competitors can participate in more than one category. Helmets are mandatory.

During this year's edition of the 1000 miles of Czechoslovakia race, the participants will visit Nová Zbrojovka again! The place where, among other things, cars were built in the interwar period, including cars for the 1000 Miles of Czechoslovakia race, will be visited by the cars between 11:00 and 13:30 on Saturday 14 June 2025, when they will return to Prague for the final leg of the race.

The eighth edition of the Open House Brno festival. Take a look with us into the normally inaccessible places of our buildings - Hrad, Hala 76, Kotelna and the terrace of ZET.Office. We invite you to the Open Day at Maple Bear Brno Elementary School, taking place on Thursday, 22 August, at Nová Zbrojovka, Lazaretní 9. Between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM, you’re welcome to drop by at any time, take a tour of our school, and ask any questions you may have. For your children, we’ve organised a diverse programme in a model classroom. Our zero-grade teachers, Lorraine and Lída, in collaboration with our Canadian coordinator Marissa, have prepared Czech-English arts, interactive, physical, and educational activities. Your children will have the chance to experience what learning at our school is like firsthand. While the children are occupied, parents can enjoy coffee and refreshments, explore our facilities, and have discussions with our team about anything that interests them. If the weather is favourable, the children may also have the opportunity to visit the playground under the guidance of our teachers. We warmly welcome not only you and your children but also their siblings and other family members. We look forward to seeing you and hope you enjoy a pleasant afternoon with us!

The annual festival on the Svitava embankment would not be the same without Nová Zbrojovka. And this year we’re going large with a rich programme! A DJ, Zumba with Maruška, a water battle with balloons and water guns (balloons and water will be provided, bring your water guns with you!), Rough Boys concert. 1st ever crossfit races of the Brno Throwdown. Our vision is to build a large, high-quality sporting event in Brno, which would take place twice a year. The race will be held on 27 July, 2024 in the outdoor areas of Nová Zbrojovka in Brno. Competition will take place in the Sport and Advanced (men/women) categories. You can look forward to amazing workouts and valuable prizes!

They’ll be here between 11:00 and 13:30 on Saturday, 15 June 2024, before their return to Prague for the final leg of the race!

Spontana is back for its third year! This time we’ve moved from a retention tank in the middle of a copse to the industrial premises of the Kotelna in the Nová Zbrojovka area. The idea remains the same – to awaken an extraordinary place with life and lots of superb quality music on two stages! Come and enjoy Spontana at another unconventional site where no similar event has ever taken place. The line-up consists of nine great bands, after which you can look forward to a big party under the baton of DJs from the EAC sound system.

Green Walk - Green Talk – an all-day tour on the theme Revitalising Brownfield sites in Brno. A tour of the ZET.Office terrace, industrial Hala 76, Kotelna and the reconstructed Hrad, with a presentation of our project, its sustainability, specific numbers, and activities we’ve been engaged in during the restoration of the area.
