Explore the original buildings and the future appearance of Nová Zbrojovka
Are you curious about how is Nová Zbrojovka developing and evolving? Come and see how a modern urban location is being born from an original industrial zone with history, which is no longer just a vision. The first buildings are being constructed, and apartments, offices, and service spaces are being sold and rented. A community neighborhood where everything is within reach is emerging here — housing, work, education, and social life. And now it's time to share the news with you.
"You will have a unique opportunity to take a peek behind the scenes of how Nová Zbrojovka is growing and coming to life. And at the same time, you can enjoy a good dose of fun for children and adults alike. The festival will bring not only information and discovery, but also a variety of experiences and space for friendly gatherings," invites Jakub Farář, Event Manager at Nová Zbrojovka.
The festival is a unique opportunity to visit places that are not normally accessible. As part of the guided tours, you will see the original buildings – Hala 76, Kotelna či Hrad. You will learn everything about the history, current construction, and future appearance of the entire district. You will see a detailed 3D model of the district and enjoy views of the construction site and Brno from the Castle terrace. You will walk through the places where the main city street, school, square full of greenery, and first residential buildings will be built.

Virtual reality, housing, and lots of news
Thanks to virtual reality glasses, you will see the buildings we are currently constructing right before your eyes — buildings that will house apartments, offices, and spaces for a variety of services. You will also be able to look inside and view specific apartments in all the standards we offer at no extra cost. During the guided tour, you will find QR codes next to the visualizations of individual buildings that will take you to a virtual tour on your mobile phone – where you can explore the location in great detail.
"Last year, visitors showed enormous interest in the tours, so this year we have prepared an even more varied program. You can walk through the floor plan of the apartment, which will be displayed in real size, one to one. With virtual glasses, you can view its interior, individual furnishings, and standards," continues Jakub Farář.
And because we are building a city district open to people, you can ask Nová Zbrojovka representatives anything that interests you. Development Director Miroslav Pekník will tell you the latest news about the development of the site, information about the sale of apartments, and everything that has happened over the past year. You will find out what the vision is for the coming years, including joint projects with the city of Brno and new tenants and services that shape the overall atmosphere of this growing district.

Fun for the whole family – sports, music, and evening campfire
Are you an enthusiastic athlete, or do you just want to run for fun? The popular Novozbrojovácká míle running race will take you through the entire neighborhood and past the preserved buildings of the original Zbrojovka factory. There are also other races for adults and children of various age categories. You can also test your strength in a beach volleyball tournament or laser game, or work out in the sports zone from Czech Virus Gym.
Four bands will take turns on stage during the evening – Few Flowers, GloWave, Middle of the Sandwich, and Rough Boys. A DJ will also be on hand to set the mood from the start and into the evening. Popular space installations of Earth, Mars, and the Moon await you in Brno. A wide selection of food trucks, led by Burger Inn and Pivovar Hauskrecht, will take care of your taste buds. And because we love the great outdoors, we will light a campfire in the evening – chatting by the fire and roasting sausages will be the perfect opportunity to meet people from Nová Zbrojovka and get to know new faces.
Children will definitely not be bored, as there will be something for both younger and older kids. We are preparing a varied program for them: bouncy castles, a carousel for the little ones, face painting, a climbing wall, a mini theater, the Momíkov family center, a planetarium, build your own Nová Zbrojovka, and various workshops and crafts.
