A BUYER OF AN APARTMENT BECOMES OUR PARTNER, A CO-AUTHOR OF THE NEIGHBOURHOOD
The main event of the Festival will be the start of the sale of the first apartments. Although we’ve been seeing demand for apartments in Nová Zbrojovka for a long time, the intensity of demand is increasing significantly with the approaching milestone of the construction launch. And we know why.
Nová Zbrojovka is a transparent project. From the beginning, we’ve shared the transformation of this brownfield site with the general public, familiarising Brno with the particular steps. That is why we have made Nová Zbrojovka as accessible as possible, why we organise community events and dialogue in person or through social networks. “Open communication and public awareness are now paying dividends to us in the form of above-standard interest in apartments. We’re surprised how much! People simply know what to expect from Nová Zbrojovka, they know that part of buying an apartment here will also be a comfortable neighbourhood full of greenery with a river and space for relaxation, as well as above-standard amenities, cultural activities, schools and kindergartens,” says Nová Zbrojovka Development Director Mirek Pekník, explaining one of the reasons for the current interest in apartments, adding: “We’re not looking for someone who will just buy an apartment here, we’re looking for a partner to co-create the neighbourhood, and people appreciate this opportunity.”
“Our proposed method of financing apartments and the fact that we offer a higher standard not only of the units themselves, but also of the entire building, including the execution of the surroundings, at average market prices, have also had a very positive response,” adds Mirek Pekník. Pleasant news for potential buyers will surely be the fact that we provide the sale directly without intermediaries, i.e. additional costs, and that right from the beginning we hand over a comprehensive price that includes all components such as cellars, parking spaces, outdoor spaces belonging to the apartment and VAT. Here, too, we advocate straightforward and transparent communication.
RUN, NOVÁ ZBROJOVKA, RUN!
There will be several running categories at the Nová Zbrojovka Festival and everyone will be able to participate – men, women, juniors and children. We will start the running at 14:30 with a race on the 50 m course for the little ones, followed by student competition runs divided by age over distances of 400 to 1000 m.
And at 16:00 we will start the highlight of the event, the Novozbrojovácká mile (1.6 km) for all men, women and juniors. And if that’s not enough for someone, they can take advantage of the following two-circuit 4.4 km race.

Concerts and lots of attractions
What would a festival be without concerts? We have 3 awesome performers ready. Czech singer Debbi, who is already a staple on the music scene and famous for her breakthrough hit ‘Touch the Sun’. You can also look forward to the singer, songwriter and dancer Pekař with his Pop'n'Roll band and the singing and dancing group GloWave, which prepares original musical experiences by combining various artistic elements. We recommend studying some songs in advance so we can all sing together.
And if you don’t want to sing or wave to the rousing rhythms, you can go on a climbing wall, try the bouncy castle or learn graffiti skills at one of the workshops. A mobile planetarium promises a unique experience, using the latest technology to convey the fascinating world of space and the secrets of cosmic phenomena.

Nová Zbrojovka through a virtual eye
An important part of the Festival is also to familiarise visitors with the current phase of the development of Nová Zbrojovka. “We want to introduce visitors to the form of Nová Zbrojovka, specifically the currently developed southern part, in the near future. For this purpose, 5 points will be set up where, with the help of technology, visitors will be virtually transported to the environment that will be created here in the coming years,” explains Jakub Farář, Nová Zbrojovka Event Manager, regarding the aims of these virtual tours. He specifies: “You will be transported, for example, to the future square of Nová Zbrojovka with its socio-cultural centre, which will be created by the reconstruction of the original Kotelna, with a park and future brewery, and you’ll be able to see one of the first residential buildings implemented from such a point.”
